(en) Toujoursieme Records is an independent record label and platform that introduces my sound projects, expanding upon the work (2017), which was inspired by floor noise. The label presents sound events captured from the surrounding environment. "Toujoursieme" is a combination of the French word Toujours (meaning "every day") and the suffix -ième (meaning "th"), forming a word that translates to "everyday cycle." Toujoursieme Records&nbsp;records the sonic events that occur in various moments and places encountered daily through field recording, and presents them in the form of ambient and soundscape albums. (en) Day After Day is a long-term sound project that explores new identities of place through the sounds of private spaces. The work began by recording sounds from my private space at the same time and place each week, trying to focus on the noise that enters my domain. The recorded sounds were then turned into sound postcards with a QR code to share with subscribers. The postcard is a device for shifting from the personal to the public, a point of positive transference where a noise perceived as negative can change the image of a place to the opposite. Seven tracks were created by recombining the sounds collected over a period of five months with other people's noises that disrupt the repetitive flow of personal space. The tracks were put on a postcard entitled ~Minok's own sound~ and delivered as a final sound postcard. These seven tracks were then transferred to a new space, the exhibition hall. The sounds were categorised into four channels, and each of the four installations, realised on the basis of images imagined from the sounds, echoed in the exhibition space. (en) While You are Going About Your Business is a sound installation that explores the noises I hear during boring times when I’m 'waiting' for something. The work was inspired by a walk with my dog when she stopped for peeing, and the interesting neighbourly conversation I overheard became a positive memory of the place, so I implement a sound album to record the noises during the boring times when I’m 'waiting for something, and to make it a memory of the place. The sound album While You are Going About Your Business captures the memories of nine places with sound, by collecting sounds from places where I was waiting for something, such as a post office waiting for a waiting number, or a bus going to an appointment. The album is presented as if it had been produced in collaboration with Toujoursieme Records, a virtual independent label founded by Ahn in 2017, creating a new listening space for the viewer to appreciate the acoustic places that were captured through the sound works by recording the 'noises' heard in the places and moments of waiting for something. In the first solo exhibition in 2021, it was installed an installation that allowed viewers to replicate the sitting or standing position she was in at the time of the recording, along with photographs of the moment she collected the sounds, printed on objects such as cushions and blankets. Leau(로)(3rd floor+4th floor)는 음악공연 형식으로 소개됐는데, 공연 시 부득이 한 4층 이웃의 부재는 ‘마치 있는 것처럼’ 허구로 설명한 후 Leau(로)의 단독출연으로 진행됐다. The work records daily life on the third floor in written form, records the (piano) noise from a fourth-floor neighbor, and writes the lyrics based on the arranged music. (en) Festival de la transpiration(Festival of Sweat)is an installation work that reinterprets a Korean custom that gives towels as a gift or souvenir. The work observes how a phrase commemorating a child's birthday on a towel in my bathroom invades the personal boundary in the form of a familiar object, and discovers the idiosyncrasies of the culture of giving and receiving gifts and souvenirs. Festival de la transpiration reverses the invasion of other people's lives into one's personal life, and explores the process of invasion of one's private life into the boundary of others by engraving phrases celebrating ordinary events and leaving them as souvenirs for others. By installing this again on the laundry drying rack, the relationship of another person as an individual built into the private space of another person was realized. (en) Soundtrack mix - latitude/longitude - is a long-term sound project that approaches the sounds that occur at specific latitudes and longitudes in different ways to collaboratively produce a unique track for that location. It is a project that began with curiosity about other people's listening points from my work, implemented in various ways with personal listening points for sound events. The project involves several people gathered at the same time and place, connected by 'listening', exploring the acoustic events of a place through their own listening practices. This is done by creating a collective aural memory through the creation of a single collaborative track. Participants will then listen to the collected sounds together and draw images evoked by the sounds, which will then be incorporated into the track's cover and music video, which will be released on SoundCloud and YouTube by Toujoursieme records.
